Many of us have experienced the feeling of silence. It is a feeling that emerges in certain circumstances from deep inside, and that brings calm to our lives. Some people feel silence while exercising, or playing instruments, or fishing, or hiking. I feel it when observing nature and landscapes. The SILENCIOS project began with a collection of photographs inspired by the feeling of silence in nature. The project had multiple photo exhibitions in Argentina and it was then complemented with poetry and music. The short film SILENCIOS (in Spanish), was subtitled in Mandarin, French, and English, and premiered in June 2017 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and in Madrid, Spain. Below are some of the photographs showcased by the project, along with some poetry and the soundtrack of the short film, all made specifically for the project.
